Top 3 New Year Reads for Growth in 2022!



Do you want to achieve more in your life? How many new years resolutions do you set each year that fall apart within three weeks? Change can be difficult. Whether it’s changing your habits, your job, your friends, or your goals it will take patience and practice.


In today’s blog, I’ll get into the top 3 new year reads for growth in 2022. These are three books that I know will have a positive impact on your year ahead. It’s time to shift your mindset to one of productivity and purpose.



# 1 - Eat That Frog! by Brian Tracy


For those of you who know me, I like to keep things simple. No outrageous claims, hacks, or wishful thinking tactics here. That goes the same for the book Eat That Frog! By Brian Tracy.


In this book, Tracy goes into his own 21 great ways to stop procrastinating and get more done in less time. His information is direct and to the point. Actionable and realistic for everyone.


I read this book recently and loved the overall outlook Tracy has. This book is a perfect read before a new year to get you inspired and motivated to take small steps towards your goals.


It has sold more than 1.6 million copies and is an international bestseller. It has everything from planning, scheduling, goals, habits, the 80/20 rule, focus, skills, actions and much more!


No information in this book is “new” or “earth-shattering” so to speak, but that’s what I love about it. It’s great simple information to help you begin to make a transformation in your new year! Read it today here.



# 2 - Your Best Year Ever by Michael Hyatt


If you’ve read my blog before you most likely recognize this title. I often recommend this book in other posts and to friends and family. Your Best Year Ever is a book focused to give you the tools you need to live your best year ever. This book focuses on giving you a 5-step plan for achieving your most important goals.


This book is fantastic to reread and I love coming back to it before a new year to absorb more information and understand what I need to do now. Hyatt is a master of the basics and writes his books in a way for anybody to easily understand and apply.


He explains in-depth about goals and the best ways to set them. A technique used by too few people which can help you 10 X your results in any area.


Hyatt helps you start from the ground up. From understanding your beliefs in life (which will help you with goals). To design your future with goal setting with printable worksheets to go with his goal-setting metrics. Finding your why is another huge part of this book which then leads into real actions you can do today to move forward.


This book is truly amazing and if you haven't read it yet be sure to pick it up here. This is in my top 5 books of all time reads (and I’ve read a lot of books on personal development).



# 3 - The 10 X Rule by Grant Cardone


While this book may be a bit over the top in its approach and theory for some, it does make a valid and very important point. People vastly underestimate what they’re truly capable of. The 10 X Rule is a book I read years ago early in my reading career so to speak.


The only difference between success and failure is Cardone’s subtitle. He is a multi-millionaire real estate investor who goes into his early story of hustling trying to sell cars.


He states that people often set the bar way too low in life and that all of your goals and dreams should be 10 X’d. Rather than aim for achieving a net worth of one million, aim for ten million. Instead of settling for a one-bedroom apartment in a busy city aim for a penthouse.


When you set the bar too low for your goals you usually either achieve the goal or something slightly under the goal. If your goal is ten times bigger and you fall short you will likely achieve much more than you ever would have before.


In this book, Cardone explains the difference between success and failure. That it is your duty to provide and be the best you can be every day. He says to always work harder than everyone else and commit to a 10 X life.
